Acoustic enclosures designed with CFD for central London

The strict noise criteria in central London make specifying products for outdoor use challenging. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) played a vital role in designing acoustic enclosures and simulating noise levels for the surrounding premises.

The use of CFD helped to ensure that the acoustic enclosures were designed to meet the specific needs of the central London location. It also saved time and money by avoiding the need for costly physical prototyping.The CFD simulations allowed the engineers to identify and mitigate any potential noise problems. They were able to optimise the enclosure’s design to reduce noise transmission and ensure that noise levels meet the strict criteria.
